Matt Klemp has over 25 years of experience working with or within the local government industry. As Director of Operations, Matt oversees all aspects of the business including the development of the company’s tactical response application Remote Access which is used across the country by fire and police agencies. Prior to joining Progressive Intelligence Technologies, Matt worked for Group 1 for nearly 2 decades, and before that he spent thirteen years at the City of Rolling Meadows, as an IT manager, and prior to that in the public works department for six years. 

Bill Wagner serves as a solution specialist.  Bill has over 25 years of firefighting experience and is a Battalion Chief at the Buffalo Grove (IL) Fire Department.  Bill has a number of certifications and a strong background in EMS.

Shawn Maddox serves as a Client Service Manager responsible for clients in Virginia and the Middle Atlantic area. Shawn has over fifteen years of experience in various aspects of Public Safety and local government and has served as a City Manager. He also holds a number of fire/rescue certifications, and has earned a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Columbia Southern University.

Mike Wills has sales responsibilities for Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada and the Pacific Northwest areas of the U.S. Mike’s duties include working with key business partners such as Esri and NAPSG. Mike retired in late 2010 after a decorated career in the fire service with the Palm Springs (CA) Fire Department where he was a Captain. Mike is a graduate of California State University, San Bernardino.

Katie Klemp is a Solution Specialist responsible for making your technical support experience, simply the best. Prior to this position Katie served as Application Specialist overseeing a Help Desk and supporting project management initiatives. Katie’s skill sets also include software training, web site design & programming and IT desktop support. Katie is a graduate of Illinois State University and spent time as an English language teacher in China.

Carla Stilling is a Solution Specialist for Progressive Intelligence Technologies.  She holds a degree in Commercial Design. Carla’s wide range of experience includes AutoCad design and drawing experience, CAD Dispatcher and GIS Technical Expertise. Carla also was responsible for managing the Client Services team at Group 1 from 2006-2010.

Matt Merritt is a Client Manager based in Carson City, Nevada. Matt has a strong background in IT and software development. Among the various roles he’s held are Sr. Systems Administrator, Network Engineer and Programmer. Matt’s firefighting expertise includes Wildland Fires and EMS. Matt was a Computer Science major at Santa Barbara (CA) City College.

Gary Dawson is a Field Technical Specialist based in Greater Brighton, CO. Gary was an IT Consultant for small businesses while a volunteer firefighter in the late 1990's and early 2000's. Gary joined the Greater Brighton Fire Department in 2004. He holds the position of IT Manager in addition to being a lieutenant on an engine company. Gary considers his strengths to be one-to-one tech support/customer service and the ability to come up with solutions that aren't always "by the book".

Bill King has joined Progressive Intelligence Technologies, as a Solution Specialist primarily responsible for clients in DuPage County, Illinois. Bill joined the fire service as a volunteer while serving in the Air Force. Bill is currently a Lieutenant on an engine company in Carol Stream, Illinois where he has also served as a training officer and administrator for the Remote Access software program. Bill also holds a number of professional certifications.

Bob Pokorny is a Software Developer at Progressive Intelligence Technologies, and has over 20 years of software development experience. Bob has also served as a volunteer firefighter, dispatcher and has EMS experience. In 2011 Bob will complete his MBA work and also complete work on a second Master’s Degree in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management.

Neil Sowers joined Progressive Intelligence technologies as a Software Engineer.  Neil comes to us with nearly 20 years of software development experience in a wide range of disciplines including insurance, banking, and telecommunications. 

Trent Hauge joined the technical support team at Progressive Intelligence Technologies as a software specialist.  Trent has recently received his BS degree in Information technology.  Trent has also served as a volunteer firefighter/paramedic, as well as a full-time paramedic for various services over the course of the past 15 years.  Trent currently dispatches for a hospital-based EMS service with air and ground transport.    

Ryan Waldkirch joins the team with over thirteen years of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) experience. He has worked with GIS in various disciplines within state and local government with an emphasis in Public Safety. Ryan began his fire service career at 17 and has worked for volunteer, combination and career fire departments. Ryan has a BS in Geography with an emphasis in Cartography from University of Wisconsin and Masters level work from University of North Dakota. Ryan has also worked as an adjunct instructor teaching GIS at Drake University in Des Moines.
